2016 Westfall High School graduate Emma Johnson was named a Wallace-Carver Fellow for 2018. Johnson was one of 30 who was awarded fellowships by the USDA and World Food Prize Foundation. As a part of the fellowship, Emma has been working on updating the USDA’s digital publications at the National Agricultural Library in Beltsville, Maryland. The fellowship began in May and will be ending at the beginning of August. Emma will be going into her second year at Ohio State where she is majoring in community leadership with a specialization in community and extension education and minoring in Spanish and international economic development. Emma was a 2016 Lanman Massie scholarship recipient, awarded from the Westfall Education Foundation.
