“Empowering student achievement to build a strong community.”
The intent of the foundation is to enhance the existing education programs, partnerships, and collaborations to improve the quality of education for
ALL CHILDREN in Westfall Local Schools, of Williamsport, Ohio.
WHAT WE DO
The Westfall Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that helps the entire district, K-12, with funding for:
- SCHOLARSHIPS
W.E.F Service Scholarships, The Adam Carter Memorial, Paul and Florence Belcher List, Judson Lanman and Gordon Massie Memorial, Brandon Leist Memorial, and more (see website for details) - STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES
Sending students to Buckeye Boys and Girls State and other leadership conferences. Providing experiences such as visiting the Ohio Theatre, Wexner Center, Columbus Museum of Art, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - EDUCATIONAL GRANTS
Reading is Fundamental program. The Field of Dreams Fund for elementary school enrichment, Lego League, Science Olympiad, WESN 55 News Team equipment upgrade, funds for former Westfall Elementary Art Club - SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Including a “Meet and Greet” with school officials, “Breakfast of Scholars” with the Booster Club, and “Honors Night” at the High School - SCHOOL FACILITIES
Contributing towards Choral Risers for the Middle and High schools. Managed funds for the replacement of home football bleachers and gymnasium scoreboards - CLASSROOM MATERIALS
Google Chromebooks, art supplies
